Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: base-installer

Installing 10.04.1 server to an iSCSI target, I am required to enter a
password for the target even though none is necessary. If I leave the
password field blank, this screen appears:

   ┌─────────────────────────┤ [!!] Detect disks ├─────────────────────────┐
   │ │
   │ Empty password │
│ You entered an empty password, which is not allowed. Please choose a │
   │ non-empty password. │
   │ │
   │ <Continue> │
   │ │
   └───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘

Fortunately, if I specify any string as the password I can work around
this issue, but since the iSCSI specification allows targets without
passwords, it seems wrong for the installer to insist that one be
specified.

** Affects: base-installer (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
