After the last upgrade of python-imaging fixing a security problem: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ dpkg -l python-imaging* Desired=Unknown/Install/Remove/Purge/Hold | Estado=No/Instalado/Config-files/Unpacked/Failed-config/Half-installed |/ Err?=(none)/Hold/Reinst-required/X=both-problems (Status,Err: mayúsc.=malo) ||/ Nombre Versión Descripción +++-=======================-=======================-============================================================== ii python-imaging 1.1.5-10ubuntu1 Python Imaging Library ii python-imaging-doc 1.1.5-10ubuntu1 Examples for the Python Imaging Library pn python-imaging-doc-html <ninguna> (no hay ninguna descripción disponible) pn python-imaging-doc-pdf <ninguna> (no hay ninguna descripción disponible) pn python-imaging-sane <ninguna> (no hay ninguna descripción disponible) in python-imaging-tk <ninguna> (no hay ninguna descripción disponible) You can see: version 1.1.5-10ubuntu1, but: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ apt-cache show python-imaging-tk Package: python-imaging-tk Priority: optional Section: universe/python ...... Depends: python-imaging (= 1.1.5-10build1) so, dependency problems caused the uninstallation of this package and others that depend on it (junior-games-gl mainly). Now, there is no way to install python-imaging-tk. I think that this a problem with universe repository, but, can you, please, keep in sync universe repository with security updates? Or unless contact with the persons aware of universe repository and comment changes. Keep in mind that universe and multiverse are *really needed* to keep an "operative" ;-) linux desktop. Please, if you can't resolve the bug, unless inform to people in universe repository. Thank you very much in advance. ** Affects: python-imaging (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- python-imaging-tk dependency problems in kubuntu-edgy https://launchpad.net/bugs/98550 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
