Agree. Well. To me, the importance of this bug has nothing to do with the "normal" user. The normal user, to me, has already decided to use Ubuntu, and despite the occasional problem, such as this one, Ubuntu far surpasses the usefulness of the alternatives, with the exception of maybe macOS.
The real problem is when us normal users manage to convince a new person to try it out, based on our recommendations.
