Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

In the gnome panel, notification area applet, gnome-power-manager shows
itself only with a placeholder icon (like gtk-missing-image.svg). If I
start indicator applet, it shows no icon at all (just a small blank
panel strip can be used to access the g-p-m menu).
