Ted, just FYI, it is both the media skip buttons (forwards and
backwards) as well as the "stop" button and the "play/pause" buttons.

Your d-bus instructions are a little confusing to me or else I would run
them myself for you, but perhaps if you install and run amarok you can
check it for yourself. I have a pretty typical installation and don't
see why it would work on someone elses computer but not mine.

Also, I am curious whether it would be looking for the KDE icons because
amarok is a KDE application, or the gnome icons because the indicator
applet is a gnome app??? I would not be surprised either way! So maybe
answering that question will help, and I imagine your instructions above
would answer that question, but for the life of me I can't follow them,
sorry.
