When working with GnuCash (both 2.2.9 and 2.3.14), I noted that the arrows at
the ends of some scrollbars are not painted correctly. Specifically, if the
scrollbar (from a drop down box) is displayed over the filled register of
GnuCash, the painting of the register seems to have priority over the painting
of the background of the arrows. Someone suggested that the transparency of the
GTK widget is not appropriately set.
When I set a different theme on my system, the effect reliably is present with
Ambiance and is absent with Clearlooks. I created a montage of 2 screenshots
showing the effect, which is attached.
