Thank you for reporting! I bought one of these mice (Lucid) recently and came across an issue like this, but the mouse would resume shortly after it hung ("choppy" was a better description)
I experimented a bit and moving the mouse really close to the sensor (even though it claims to work across the room) seemed to help a bit.
