Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: units

The source package is:

virt...@virtual-desktop:~$ dpkg -S /usr/bin/units
units: /usr/bin/units

The release of Ubuntu is:

virt...@virtual-desktop:~$ lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS
Release: 10.04

The version of the package is:

virt...@virtual-desktop:~$ apt-cache policy units
units:
  Installed: 1.87-2
  Candidate: 1.87-2
  Version table:
 *** 1.87-2 0
        500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid/universe Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

What I expected to happen is:
I expected the program to convert temperatures correctly. For example:

100 degC should convert to 212 degF
32 degF should convert to 0 degC
273.15 kelvin should convert to 32 degF

What happened instead was:
The program did not convert temperatures correctly. For example:

100 degC was converted to 180 degF
32 degF was converted to 17.777778 degC
273.15 kelvin was converted to 491.67 degF
