I'm using Edgy. For the last few months, I choose 'recovery mode' login at grub, then enter # kdm start to get to the kde multiuser login. (I can also do startx but don't like doing work as root all the time). It works fine from there, and I've been too busy to fight the bootup problem--just living with it.
I never found anything obvious in the logs and couldn't find documentation on cranking up the verbosity of the logs or even an 'interactive startup' like RH used to have. If you let me know what info here might help you close this bug, I'm happy to provide anything. --- Freddy Martinez <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Is this fixed in Edgy or Feisty?
