As you previously have pointed out, this error was produced after an accidental hardware failure, so I can guess it's just 'apt-get' who is in an inconsistent state, please do:
$ sudo apt-get install -f And then try to update your system again. If that doesn't resolve your issue please assign the bug to the 'krb5' package and wait for real developers to dig into your problem.
