If you want to try t... ok, I would like to try. How can I add this PPA so it stays up to date with later RCs of the kernel. I assume the kernel will never reach Lucid. How can it be installed without ruining upgrade-ability to Maverick? The link takes me a web page; I have looked at the PPA documentation and there isnt an explanaltion of how to add a PPA with a link like this. should I just add this to the sources.list file as with earlier versions of Ubuntu? somehting like: deb http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/ lucid main deb-src http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/ lucid main I cannot see a (user/consumer friendly) implemented feature list for Maverick; is Maverick ok for light PC use; should I just upgrade to that now (I have previously run Alphas and Betas of Ubuntu/Kubuntu/Xubuntu without many issues). > > The final version of kernel 2.6.35 should be available soon. > > -- > Thinkpad T60 overheats > ... -- Thinkpad T60 overheats https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/584211 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
