I'm using 10.04 with the latest updates. I don't think it is darkice, because I can do:
darkice -c generated_by_darksnow.cfg and it works fine. In other words, darkice and streaming are working on my machine. Darksnow, however, crashes whenever I hit the Start Streaming button.
