I got this bug only on HP T5540 thin client - (via chipset I think).
my server is ubuntu 10.04 and configured to be LTSP server. everything works
great with 2 regular computers as LTSP clients.
I'v tested mic and speaker with 'sip communicator' software and had success
with a local test call between those two clients. 'sip communicator' softphone
has support for pulseaudio.

but when I connect this HP thin client and tries to make a call or just
to configure sound, It can work for couple of seconds and sound shuts
down. from this point, sound device seems to be missing from 'pulseaudio
volume control' (Applications -> Sound & Video).

logging off and on again doesn't help. only reboot will restore the
sound device in the client, but It's not usable as I mentioned. by the
way, I tested two of this thin client with the same result.

any ideas?
