Thanks for taking the time to report a bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
The goal I think is to provide reasonable support of VPNs in NetworkManager, which is already largely achieved with the plugins in universe as they are: they are pretty up to date (and a daily build is available), and clearly downloadable if the event a user needs them. If you have a use case in particular where a VPN other than pptp (which is already in main, since required by a number of DSL users to connect to the Internet) is clearly required, please open a separate bug, affecting the plugin itself, so the issue can be looked into. ** Changed in: network-manager (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Invalid -- vpn plugins should be in main repository https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/134407 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
