** Changed in: brasero (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed ** Changed in: brasero (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => ChadH (chadh) ** Description changed: Binary package hint: brasero In Brasero, I cannot burn a video dvd unless I install the gstreamer- plugins-bad-multiverse package. I had to find this out by searching Launchpad. Two ways to improve the situation: 1. Brasero offers the user to install the package, just like Rhythmbox does when codecs are needed. 2. Brasero makes it clear that video dvd burning is not supported.
