"TEST CASE:
1. install turkish locale:
  $ sudo apt-get install language-pack-gnome-tr-base
2. from a terminal run the following command and note any error message:
  $ sudo LC_ALL=tr_TR.UTF8 update-software-center"

You can test this via:
LC_ALL=tr_TR.UTF8 rednotebook
