Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
This problem seems to work in two ways: Firstly, creating a folder or file appears to do nothing. The folder/file has actually been created, it's just invisible. Pressing Ctrl+H makes it appear. Secondly, certain files and folders keep disappearing from my home folder (I've noticed this with my 'Videos' folder mostly). Again, Ctrl+H makes it reappear. Pressing Ctrl+H to re-hide hidden files doesn't make the files/folders disappear again (so it looks like Nautilus is having a problem refreshing itself). It occurs with both the spatial and the browser interfaces. ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Untriaged Status: Unconfirmed ** Description changed: Binary package hint: nautilus This problem seems to work in two ways: Firstly, creating a folder or file appears to do nothing.
