Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: update-manager

There are two issues with dist-ugrade which have been persistent for a
very long time, but I hadn't gotten around to report yet.

First, I like to use a smaller font size (9) in comparison to the
default (10). In effect I changed all default fonts (Appearance->Fonts)
to have size 9. Most applications take the hint and display correctly,
but the terminal window in dist-upgrade does not follow suit. The font
is visibly larger than everything else, potentially size 10 though I
cannot tell with a bare eye.

The second issue that that opening up the terminal part of the dist-
upgrade GUI, it often spills over the visible size of my display
(1440x900). I suggest a simple fix (which actually worked at some point,
but then a regression occurred) -- namely, when one opens up the
terminal part the window can be made as large as possible to fit in the
visible area and re-centered.

** Affects: update-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
