This is a drag for me too, in . All I want to do is add the widget that show me if caps lock is on or not. I can install the app, but I cannot add it to the panel. So far all I am seeing is excuses for why this isn't possible, or claims it is a design decision. Doesn't stop it being a bug from the vast majority of users point of view. So is anyone going to make an attempt to fix this, or are we stuck with an uncustomisable feature?
