The problem apparently is in the Intel graphics driver. Meanwhile I'm using the vesa driver, I had to edit the /etc/default/grub file:
## Original: ## GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash" ## Now: GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet nomodeset xforcevesa acpi_osi=Linux" I'm not sure of the effect of acpi_osi=Linux but I couldn't even boot without nomodeset and xforcevesa options. -- Computer boots in low-graphics mode (intel graphics card) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/600453 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
