I think this occurs with newer versions of packages from the ricotz gnome shell PPA. So this bug is invalid for Ubuntu. (My mistake!)
Steps to reproduce: 1. Install Epiphany from standard repository. 2. Add ricotz gnome shell repository. 3. Run 'sudo aptitude update && sudo aptitude safe-upgrade' 4. Install gnome-shell. 5. Start Epiphany while using Gnome Shell and download an image file from Wikipedia. 6. Notice the dialog still assumes downloads are in progress and does not go away. -- Epiphany Browser Downloads Applet Does Not Disappear https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/578015 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
