I have seen the files and I'm considering the case . 
Your touchpad is not recognised and is considered as a mouse so to verify that 
it is a bug indeed and not a driver installation issue please consider it..

Make sure that the package xserver-xorg-input-synaptics is installed in the 
system>package manager.
Also install another package gpointing device-settings. This is a configration 
utility for the synaptics driver.
