The plugin packages I am using are: adobe-flashplugin 10.1.53.64-1 sun-java6-plugin 6.20dlj-0ubuntu1.8.04 I assume that if I set dom.ipc.plugins.timeoutSecs to a very large number (say 1000), I am virtually deactivating this feature (when I find time for it, I will re-upgrade and test this). However, I think the "crashed plugin" takes less than 45 seconds in appearing.
