Alright. Testing locally, I can reproduce (2) with apparently 100% ease. Performing these steps: 1) Boot laptop in docking station, lid closed 2) Remove laptop from docking station 3) Open lid and wakeup laptop 4) Close lid and sleep 5) Place laptop in docking station 6) Wakeup with lid closed
I get a turned-on, but blanked display on the external monitor; opening the laptop lid reveals the password prompt. Disabling the xrandr plugin from /apps/gnome_settings_daemon/plugins/xrandr/active removes this behaviour. The laptop wakes up in in clone mode, and the password prompt is visible. -- Display error when returning from sleep after docking https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/531069 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
