I just went back and tried 2.6.35-999-generic_2.6.35-999.201006151505_i386.deb
I still get the warnings about IOAPIC on boot. I also noticed a warning (during the installation, I think) that openafs modules couldn't be built. This time, suspend worked (it's hard to be really sure, because the problem is sporadic, but I tried a handful of times). So, I tried uninstalling openafs-client and using the latest Lucid kernel; suspend seems to work! So perhaps in my case, the problem had something to do with afs modules? I'll be convinced if I don't get the flashing moon non-suspend for a week. -- fails to suspend on Lenovo Thinkpads (T400, T410s, W510) when a SD card is present in the built-in card reader https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/550479 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
