Similar problem with an HP mini with Intel graphics... After upgrade to Lucid I didn't get fglrx but I did get nvidia-current taking over from mesa/intel.
This lead to the problems detailed by others in bug 570659. I was also getting 'no OpenGL available' messages from various apps when using the 2D desktop. The system was fixed following the procedure in that same bug report (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/netbook- launcher/+bug/570659/comments/19). PS The title of this bug could be improved so that the search engines are better able to find it. (I doubt many people would search for 'mesa driver' without prior knowledge of what the problem is.) -- Mesa drivers getting munged on Lucid Upgrade https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/574507 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
