i seem to stumble upon the same issue but it is intermittent. there are two symptoms. (a) regular bootup and a certain huge partition of my SATA drive disappears (b) once in a while after s3 resume SATA drive does not go back to normal functioing. I still get everything on the screen but system functioing soon goes haywire because disk is offline. All data to syslog would be lost after reboot. However, my syslog before reboot looks pretty similar to what you've got above.
I have since checked around and i think it involves the AMD780g chipset. Someone somehwere suggests using boot parameter pci=nomsi to resolve it. since I have seen this across several kernel revisions, the situation has not been properly dealt with. At the moment I am using 2.6.32-22. I don't know if this is a design problem on the chipset or a software issue. -- Partitions unmounted after Resume from S3 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/460907 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
