@Thierry, I'm running the latest kvm version from the hardy ppa (it's newer
than the original hardy I believe):
Version: 1:84+dfsg-0ubuntu12.1~rc5ppa1
This is the line I use to start the VM:
screen -t development kvm -m 1024m -nographic -drive
file=development.raw,if=virtio,boot=on -net
nic,macaddr=xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx,model=virtio -net
tap,ifname=tap1,script=no,downscript=no
