The same user had rebooted his laptop with metacity. With compiz, the bug was often (each 20 boots) on the aera applets (right corner high) and also with the desktop icon on the bottom panel at left (icon corrupted).
With metacity, no bug appears on the top and on the bottom! He shall stay with this configuration for tests.
