How to Fix the inkscape globalmenu problem on 10.04 Lucid
First I removed globalmenu and Inkscape and reinstalled Inskscape but the problem persisted! I believe i has something to do with the fact that my Lucid installation is actually an Upgrade (from 8.04) rather than an actual installation.
