Hi Ge, With some help from some more eyeballs, this has been tracked down as a duplicate of Debian bug http://bugs.debian.org/482313. It appears that you, like the submitter of that bug, have a local command installed in your path named 'ucf' which upper-cases filenames, which is why anything that calls ucf in its maintainer scripts fails. You should remove this incompatible command from your path or rename it, to avoid this conflict with the standard packaging tool of the same name.
