At the CD prompt press F6, then go at the end of the parameters line and remove "quite" and "splash" then press enter. You'll see the boot in text mode and I think see the crash which can be what we call a Kernel Panic. At this point it'd be interesting to have a picture of that (if you have a camera or a mobile phone) you can attach it to this bug report.
