Hi, I have the same problem since one of the 2.6.20-12 kernels. (I do not know which since I don't reboot very often). The problem is still here with 2.6.20-13.
The boot sequence hangs at "Configuring network interfaces". Hiting <Ctrl>+D makes the boot sequence goes on and finally networking works like a charm once in KDE. I have an Asus centrino laptop.
