Jerther: Very sorry, I don't think this is a direct result of my patch, but perhaps a side effect of its installation. Are you sure that you cannot start PulseAudio manually? Also you can re-enable the autostart by typing the following, as long as you don't have any other options in that file (you would have deliberately had to put something in there):
rm ~/.pulse/client.conf After typing this, try typing "killall pulseaudio", and then "pulseaudio".
