Hi Victor. My cursor disappeared all across the desktop. I don't think it is Eclipse related. Sorry for posting in the wrong area.
Apologies for the incomplete information. I'm new at this bug reporting thing and to Ubuntu 10.04 (though I've had Ubuntu 9.04 installed on several PCs for over a year now. I replaced 9.10 (too buggy for me) with this 10.04 and like it much better. The desktop PC I'm having a problem with is a: HP - Compaq Evo D220 Series (PC2700) Desktop/PC Intel Pentium 4, CPU 2.8 Ghz 2 gig RAM In any case, I am able to make the cursor appear now by setting the mouse to "indicate where the mouse is by pressing CTRL". Then going to preference, monitor, detect display, apply. Then the cursor appears. But I have to do this every time I start up the PC. It's probably video driver related because Ubuntu 10.04 works great on my son's Sony Viao Desktop, of a similar configuration. -- Visual glitches: disappearing cursor, font changes, artifacts https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/590333 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
