I tried http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-
ppa/mainline/v2.6.35-rc3-maverick/linux-
image-2.6.35-020635rc3-generic_2.6.35-020635rc3_amd64.deb

On booting I could see some new errors. I did standby two-times, but the
interface wlan0 was not removed. But I couldn't build an wireless
connection at all, even before I did the standby. So it was even worse
for me. See the attached log for details.

I removed the kernel and restarted. Plymouth started and stopped and was
frozen. I needed to restart again and my computer worked like before.
(Only that now my computer is now full of logs. How can I easily remove
them?)
