I don't think it's QTParted either. Take a i686 version of Kubuntu
10.04 Netbook Edition from kubuntu.org, then when the GRUB menu
displays, select "Install Kubuntu Netbook Edition". Do NOT let Kubuntu
load first. Then, when you go through a about 3 setting options, the
problem fleshed out in my bug report happens when it gets to the
partition screen.

So, I'm using whatever tool (minimal graphics) that GRUB loads when
selecting "Install" and NOT the install program that you can run after
the Kubuntu NBE Live CD loads.

By the way, I used the M$-Windows USB creator tool on the Kubuntu NBE
disc, to create a bootable SD card that plugs into a USB key simulator,
since my ZaReason Teo netbook won't boot from its internal SD card slot
(and has no CD drive, nor do I have access to an external CD drive).
The SD card plugged into the USB thing worked great. I doubt it was the
cause of this.

So, I bet you could replicate this minor bug by trying out what I told
you (except just use a the bootable CD straight up).

If you still absolutely need photos, I might be able to, or I might not.
Obviously, I can't do a screen capture since Kubuntu hadn't loaded
up—just the GRUB-based Kubuntu 10.04 Netbook Edition. So, I'll have to
try to get someone to photograph my screen. So please give it a go or
forward this message to whoever you think might be helpful.
