It seems, that subtitles problems with accented characters will be
solved simply by changing default font for subtitles - currently mplayer
depends on ttf-bitstream-vera font, which doesn't contain a lot of
symbols, used in lots of European countries (like Lithuania, Latvia,
Poland, etc). We should use ubuntu's default font - ttf-dejavu, which is
based on bitstream vera font, but with lots of characters added.
