Just running the Dist Upgrade Tool now, and it's hung towards the end. Expanding the terminal box shows that it's waiting for input regarding mdadm changes (this is a software RAID1 system)...

I had to press enter 15 times until I got the prompt asking me what arrays are required for the root filesystem. The same dialog problem appears again when it wants to ask me whether it should start the arrays automatically.
