Does anyone know how to time how long it takes for an application to launch? I know how to test how much CPU time an application takes to execute and halt, but nothing about "measure the CPU time until the program spikes down in CPU usage" or similar.
Also, is this a problem with KDE applications as well? I doubt this is just a GNOME problem, so we need more applications tested.
