This bug is biting *a lot* of people, and biting me quite frequently on Lucid.
I suggest that we SRU this fix. I'd like to have Scott (or someone) carefully review the upstart script, as converting screen's init script to upstart generally would not be handled in an SRU. ** Also affects: screen (Ubuntu Lucid) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: screen (Ubuntu Lucid) Status: New => In Progress ** Changed in: screen (Ubuntu Lucid) Importance: Undecided => Medium ** Changed in: screen (Ubuntu Lucid) Assignee: (unassigned) => Dustin Kirkland (kirkland) ** Changed in: screen (Ubuntu Lucid) Milestone: None => lucid-updates -- Cannot make directory '/var/run/screen': Permission denied (convert init to upstart) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/574773 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
