I have a Epson TM-TI88IV connected through the /dev/ttyUSB0 (udev'd to /dev/ttyUSBatc) using an ATC usb to seral converter. It works perfectly in Karmic but when I copy over the exact same settings to Lucid the usb to seral coverter is recognized but an echo testtesttesttest > /dev/ttyUSBatc produces no output (same command in Karmic prints testtesttest to the printer.
stty -F /dev/ttyUSBatc produces: speed 19200 baud; line = 0; min = 0; time = 0; -brkint -icrnl -imaxbel -opost -onlcr -isig -icanon -iexten -echo -echoe -echok -echoctl -echoke on both Karmic and Lucid. The hardware is good since I can print from Karmic. Expected behavior: output to the serial port connected to the usb to serial connector Reulting behavior: Command is executed, but there is no data sent to the USB to serial coverter. -- serial ports malfunction on lucid https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/556854 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
