Lars, use the GUI to configure what is to be stored and where etc., and
don't forget to save your settings (just hit the button). Then you open
a console/terminal and start a backup by typing

#sudo sbackupd

and hitting enter. Your're asked for your password. That's all. The
program will read the settings which you previously set using the GUI
and perform the backup.
