This bug is affecting me on both my desktop (running Ubuntu 10.04) and my netbook (running UNR 10.04). Inserting an SDHC card (I've tried both 8GB and 16GB cards) and there is no obvious detection by the OS.
I opened Ubuntu's Disk Utility and found my SecureDigital Drive, connected via USB.
