Wow, this one's annoying. It gave me the same error, so I tried to purge the OpenOffice.org files as Chris has suggested. Unfortunately, it won't let me because it says I have to upgrade the package ure in order to remove the OOo files. Unfortunately, every time I try and upgrade ure, it gives an error "E: openoffice.org-emailmerge: Package is in a very bad inconsistent state - you should reinstall it before attempting a removal."
Is there a way to remove the files without going through an upgrade? -- package ure 1.6.0 OOo3.2.0-7ubuntu4 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 2 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/582644 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
