I'm getting a very similar-sounding bug with bcm4306 wireless, using the b43 driver. The above fix does not work for me. With wicd I get "Bad password", with nm-applet, I get the stuff attached. Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to check other networks, this bug has only appeared in the last 24 hours for me.
