this is the message I received when installing openjdk-6-jdk
corrupted filesystem tarfile - corrupted package archive
dpkg-deb: subprocess paste killed by signal (Broken pipe)

please advise me what to do to proceed as I'm new to Ubuntu & Linux. Oh
nearly forgot my system is Lucid lynx newly installed
