Has nothing to do with BIOS version in my opinion. I have an Intel DQ965GF with the newest BIOS date smbios.bios.release_date = '02/25/2007' smbios.bios.version = 'CO96510J.86A.5840.2007.0225.2142' and I got still a PCI: Failed to allocate mem resource #6:[EMAIL PROTECTED] for 0000:0 1:00.0 message at booting. However the system works perfectly. The message is only showed when booting and is recorded in /var/log/dmesg I hope it is not harmful...
