As for me, gnome-power-manager only seems to be leaking RAM while
displaying the battery symbol in the panel (which is, while recharging
the battery). However, the leak happens to be much more severe than
scottku described, as it takes ~2 hours to eat 3GB of memory.

All the above concerns the buggy version, I am testing the fix from
-proposed right now and will report.
