How did you find out, it is a problem of the rt73usb driver? For me it seems that it is a problem of the uvcvideo driver, as it's not just the Wifi not working. Also my computer doesn't recognize any USB-Stick that is plugged in. So when I activate the uvcvideo driver and start using my webcam, all USB-parts of my computer are gone....
By the way, I posted this bug one month ago and since then there was no change in Status, Importance and still it isn't assigned to anyone....
